‘Kook’ marks Labor Day

Cardiff’s “Kook” surfer statue was found dressed as a construction worker holding an American flag Friday. The statue of a young surfer, which has been targeted by pranksters since it was installed in 2007, also had a sign under it that read, “Thanks to those who built America.” BILL WECHTER | [email protected]
