Castle of Rincon in Puerto Rico Lists for $4.8 Million
Known for its pristine surfing beaches and unique blend of Spanish-Caribbean culture, Rincon, Puerto Rico is hardly the place one would expect to find a European-style castle, but lo-and-behold perched atop a private mountain peak, looking west to the Caribbean Sea is just that. Known as ‘Castle of Rincon’ or ‘Castle of Palatine Hills’, depending on who you ask, the massive castle compound has recently hit the market for $4.8 million and represents one of the more unique real estate opportunities found on the island.
Resting on a mountain peak with 360 degree ocean and valley views and more than 50 acres of private land behind it, the massive castle compound sports a pseudo-Mediterranean design styled after the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California.
