Lil Wayne Launching Skateboard Clothing Line ‘Trukfit’

By most accounts, Lil Wayne has already had a banner 2011. He’s coasting on the success of his “I Am Still Music” tour, which grossed a whopping $47 million in the States alone, plus the 2 million copies sold of his ninth album Tha Carter IV. Still, the 29-year-old mogul is on his entrepreneurial grind. Next year, Weezy will be taking a leap into the world of fashion, with a new line of skateboard apparel.
On January 23 and 24, Lil Wayne will debut his new skateboard-themed clothing line Trukfit in New York City at the Agenda Trade Show-–an annual street and active wear trade show, which highlights well-established clothing companies, and upstart lines looking to make an impact in the industry.
