Sam Worthington has spoken about his role in the WA-filmed Drift for the first time.
The Rockingham-raised actor, who will play a documentary maker who helps bring surfing culture into the mainstream, revealed during a press day for espionage thriller The Debt that he will arrive in WA soon for filming, which is currently taking place in the South West.
“I’m about to go down (to Australia) and do (Drift),” he said. “The boys are down there filming already, and the waves are big.
“But in the movie, I play a surf photographer…”
