August 26, 2011 – 3:15PM
A man has died after going into cardiac arrest at a beach in Sydney’s south.
The 58-year-old was surfing at North Cronulla this morning when his leash snapped and he lost his board.
Council lifesavers and members of the public pulled him from the water a short time later and tried to revive him.
