Derek Rabelo Blind surfer

Derek Rabelo was born blind, but wanted to become a surfer. He succeeded, and even surfed the infamously dangerous Banzai Pipeline in O’ahu, Hawaii. There’s not much to say here, except that this is an incredible story and you need to watch this preview of the upcoming documentary, “Beyond Sight: The Derek Rabelo Story.” It comes out in March 2014.
