High surf and small craft advisories due to Tropical Cyclone Daniel

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a high surf advisory for East facing shores of the Big Island starting at midnight Tuesday (July 10) through 6 p.m. Friday (July 13).
Eastern swells from Tropical Cyclone Daniel will reach the Big Island tonight and continue through the week. Surf is forecast to be in the five to eight foot range through Wednesday (July 11) with bigger waves expected later in the week…
