HAWAII:  High Surf WARNING Extended for North Shore – 35 Foot Waves Expected! #SurfReport

The High Surf ADVISORY for Maui’s north shore issued by the National Weather Service in Honolulu on Sunday, January 5 has been replaced by a High Surf WARNING, which will stay in effect until 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 9.

A High Surf Warning means that beach-goers are urged to stay out of the water and away from the shore to avoid being compromised by hazardous waves and rip currents.

Surf heights on the North Shore are expected to reach 18-22 feet on Tuesday and will rise to 25-35 feet, peaking…
