HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The National Weather service has issued a HIGH SURF WARNING for the south and west facing shores of all islands.
A new, long-period south swell will produce extra large and hazardous surf along exposed beaches through tonight.
Surf may reach 10-15 feet (faces). Only experienced surfers should be in the water. And a caution to drivers heading home this afternoon, at high tide (4:59 pm Honolulu) there could be waves and debris washing up onto coastal roadways. Use extreme caution.
