High surf advisory in effect from early Wednesday to 2 PM Friday

The departing storm was windy enough to whip up large swells which will reach the coast Wednesday and linger into Friday.

The high surf advisory will be in effect from 4 am Wednesday through 2 PM Friday.

West and northwest facing beaches can expect breakers of 11 to 14 feet with Max sets to 16 feet.

Minor tidal overflow is possible during the time of high tide. The high tide will affect Morro Bay at 10:21 am Wednesday with…
