Norafin reports that it has successfully qualified its 100% flax, lightweight spunlaced nonwovens as the complementary reinforcement material for surfboard construction via the contact vacuum moulding composites process.

Surfboards employing the material are now commercially available from French manufacturer Notox Green Wave SAS.
