Surf’s up! Santas hit the waves in Cocoa Beach

COCOA BEACH —

For the third year in a row, dozens of surfers dressed as Santa Claus and braved the cold water on Saturday in Cocoa Beach.

Last year, 19 surfers rode the 4-foot waves setting a world record for the “Most Santas surfing at the same time.

Organizer George Trosset will be donating gift cards collected at the event and give them to the children living at the Deveraux Home in Cocoa for Christmas.
