Al Byrne, legendary surfer/shaper of the six-channel, is in hospital in Bali after suffering a motorbike accident near Jimbaran in Friday night.
AB is reported to have suffered a severe skull fracture among other injuries and is in a coma. His wife Jane and son Jamie are understood to have flown to Bali to be with Al at this critical time.
