$30,000 worth of surf clothing and equipment stolen from Streaky Bay

THIEVES have stolen about $30,000 worth of clothing and equipment from a Streaky Bay surf shop.

The stock was stolen during a break in of a surf shop on Bay Rd, Streaky Bay, on Friday night, police said.

The theft has prompted a warning from police for people to be wary if offered cheap surf gear.

“It is an offence to buy or be in possession of any property…”
