Artistic surfboards for sale in Ritz-Carlton auction
You can bid on 35 boards from surf stars, celebrities and artists through Dec. 31. Proceeds will help Surfers Healing provide surf experiences to autistic children.
A surboard decorated by Steve Wan, aka Ekura One, is up for auction at the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point. Wan is a commissioned graffiti muralist in Los Angeles and a chef tournant at the Ritz-Carlton. Opening bid for the board is $600.

The Ritz-Carlton resort in Dana Point opened its fourth annual Holiday Surfboard Auction on Saturday, featuring 35 boards from surfing stars, celebrities and artists. It runs through noon Dec. 31.
Proceeds will go to Surfers Healing, which provides experiences in surfing to autistic children.
Boards are on display at the resort, and you can see and make bids on all of them online here.
Boards will be available for pickup or shipping starting Jan. 2.
