Ireland showcases its stunning coastline at Eurosurf games in Bundoran

Teams from 16 countries have descended on Bundoran for the European Surfing Championships, which run until 2 October. It is the first time the competition has been held in Ireland since 1997. Team Ireland is made up of 13 surfers, including three Northern Irish athletes – John McCurry from Portrush, Ronan Oertzen from Belfast and Tyrone’s Darragh McCarter.
